The signature reflects the artists’ attitude towards self. The purpose of my research is to trace the psychology of picture labeling. The autographs of the artists were separated into groups: signature-portrait, monogram, integration into the picture, symbol, signature-fake and classic autograph.

Signatures are often hard to find at first glance on the paintings, so I cut out a ‘window’ on green pages to highlight them.
